An African investment advisor with experience transacting internationally and in mergers &

acquisition, capital raising, corporate finance, private capital investment and project finance
strategies across multiple sectors currently seek to fill the role below

JOB TITLE: Associate Vice President

REPORTS TO: Vice President / Senior Partner

BUSINESS UNIT: Principal Investments/Private Equity

LOCATION: Lagos

LEVEL: Full Time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field

from a reputable university

PREFERRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 8-10 years of post-graduation experience

SALARY: N17,000,000-N20,000,000 Per Annum

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage activities required for sourcing, screening and advising on new investments, as well as portfolio management and reporting for existing investments, not limited to financial modeling, valuation, preparation of investment recommendations and transaction execution
• Ensure quality of deliverables & work processes to support fundraising, strategy development and creation of value for investors, investees and other stakeholders
• Manage projects and serving as team lead
• Acts as an advisor/mentor to project team members and client teams
• Ensure timely delivery/execution of tasks and projects
• Deliver professional presentations to clients/stakeholders
• Manage relationships with investors, investees and other stakeholder

• Principal Investment knowledge and excellent understanding of capital markets

• Highly tuned negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Business development competence
• Strong execution and transaction experience with a bias in energy (oil & gas), power

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field from a reputable university
A minimum of nine (9) years of post-graduation experience
ICAN, ACCA or CFA certification

THE FOLLOWING WILL BE ADDED ADVANTAGE:

An MBA from a reputable university
International exposure through study, travel or work experience is a key requirement
 

SALARY: N17,000,000 -N20,000,000 Per Annum
