The CBN Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited seeks to employ qualified, experienced and dynamic individuals of integrity to fill the following positions:

1.   Job Title: Manager Finance & Accounts 
      Location: Abuja

Job Description: The Manager Finance & Accounts position reports to the General Manager and will be in charge of the Finance & Accounts Department of the Cooperative Society. The position is responsible for executive management of all areas relating to Accounting, Financial reporting, Tax, Fund investment/Treasury Management and Budgets.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics or Finance
  • Professional qualifications(ICAN or ACCA). Minimum of 4years post professional qualification experience.
  • Minimum of 10years relevant experience, of which at least three(3) must be at senior management position(s) in a similar or comparable institution.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards(IFRS).
  • Computer proficiency
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams.
2.   Job Title: Internal Auditor
      Location: Abuja

Job Description: the Internal Auditor position is relevant to the Management committee and will be in charge of the internal control and audit function of the Cooperative Society, including Enterprise risk assessment, internal audit exercises, review of the society's internal controls, and assurance review and reporting on staff and society's compliance to internal policies and external regulatory/statutory requirements, respectively.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • First degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification qualification(ICAN or ACCA: CIA or CISA is an added advantage): minimum of 3 years post qualification experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years  internal or external audit experience in a reputable organization with strong internal controls.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Demonstrated critical competencies in analysis, team work, research, reporting,presentation, exercise of professional judgement and programme planning and execution within time lines.
  • Has good understanding of cooperative business.
3.  Job Title: Manager Operations
     Location: Abuja

Job Description: The Manager Operations position reports to the General Manager and will be in charge of the operations department of the Cooperative Society. The position is responsible for executive management of the Thrift and Credit unit. Project unit and the Member relations unit of the Society; distilling strategy and business plans into specific action plans for the Operations department; prompt recovery of outstanding loan due from members especially from withdrawing or retiring members of the Society; regular and consistent monitoring of and reporting on business performance(Thrifts & Credit, member relations and Projects) against set targets; and improving the operational processes and performance of the department to maximize productivity and achieve the society's goal.

BASIC QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate Degree in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Economics, finance or Law.
  • Post-graduate degree (MSc. in relevant field or MBA)
  • Professional qualification(s) (PMP, ICAN, or ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience of which at three(3) must be at senior management position(s) in a similar or comparable organization.
  • Leadership and supervisory/people management skills.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft office tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams.
4.  Job Title: Accountant
     Location: Abuja

Job Description: The Accountant position reports to the Manager Finance & Accounts and will be in charge of the Accounts unit of the Cooperative Society. The position is responsible for: preparing monthly management accounts of the society, preparing year -end financial statements, management of the Society's General ledger system; safety and completeness of all books of accounts of the society including those maintained in accounting software applications; liaising with the Internal and external auditor; financial performance and trend analysis; and budget variance reporting and advising on cost management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate degree or HND in Finance or Accounting.
  • Post-graduate degree in Finance or Accounting is an added advantage
  • Professional qualification(ICAN or ACCA)
  • 5 years relevant experience. 
  • Good knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards(IFRS).
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficient in use of MS office tools.
5.  Job Title: Account Officer
     Location: Abuja
Job Description: The Account Officer position  reports to the Accountant and is responsible for: proper recording of all expense transactions into Sub-ledgers and General ledger of Society, monthly reconciliation of the other financial records(e.g. payroll module, thrift and credit module, fixed assets  register) to the General ledger of the Society, disbursement of approved and authorized expenditure, and performing cashier functions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • BSc. HND in Accounting or Finance.
  • Student member of relevant professional bodies(ICAN, ACCA or CPA) is an added advantage.
  • 2 years relevant experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in use of MS word and excel office packages.

JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Project Manager will assist in managing all the company's technical business related issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage all technical projects and business related Issues
  • Interface with foreign technical partners and developers on technical development and Integration.
  • Coordinate and perform UAT of new application/solutions before Go-Live.
  • Liaise with third party business partners for investment and better partnerships.
  • Identify Technical Risk and proffer solutions.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • B.Sc in Electrical Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or Computer science (2:2 and above).
  • 4+ years in progressively responsible experience in IT Projects.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
  • Record of successfully managing IT projects
  • Analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Creative thinker
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • PC proficiency and strong working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word and Google application is essential
SALARY: 200k to 400k
