JOB TITLE: Videographer, Video Editor & Live-Streaming Resource 

LOCATION: Lagos

JOB TYPE: Full Time/Part-time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: Bachelor Degree/ HND in Creative Art, Cinematography, Videography or any related discipline                         

PREFERED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 3years

SALARY: N200,000 to N250,000

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly creative, organized & motivated Videographer, Video       editor with focus on Live-Streaming Events to work with our creative team to work at a client’s    Start-up/Foundation. As a Videographer, Video editor, you will play a crucial role in coverage of           Live-Sporting Events, creating YouTube contents, going Live on YouTube, and working creatively        to produce the desired visuals for social media platforms. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Capture and edit high-quality videos for training, events, interviews, and promotional content. 

• Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure optimal video production.

• Collaborate with the team to understand their vision and translate it into compelling visuals.

• Edit and enhance footage using video editing software to create polished final products.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to bring fresh ideas to projects.

• Manage and organize video files and assets to ensure efficient workflow.

• Coordinate with coaches, players, to execute projects.

• Conduct research and prepare shot lists or storyboards for upcoming shoots.

• Set up and operate equipment for live streaming or webcasting events.

• Collaborate with post-production teams to ensure seamless integration of video and audio.

• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure its proper functioning.

• Assist in the development and execution of creative concepts for video projects.

• Stay organized and meet project deadlines while managing multiple assignments.

• Continuously learn and improve skills to deliver top-notch video content.

• Plan, script, and storyboard video ideas to ensure a cohesive and engaging narrative.

• Optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags to increase visibility and reach on YouTube.

• Engage with viewers through comments, likes, and community interaction.

• Stay up-to-date with YouTube trends and algorithm changes to maximize video performance.

• Promote videos on social media platforms to expand audience reach.

• Analyze video analytics to understand audience behavior and optimize content strategy.

• Build and nurture a loyal subscriber base by consistently delivering high-quality content.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Videographer/Cinematographer.

• A certificate course in Videography or Cinematography is an advantage.

• Proficiency in video editing software. (Lumen5, Final Cut Pro and Nero Video Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects).

• Familiarity with different cameras like digital cameras, professional-grade cameras and digital camcorders.

• Excellent computer skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of different motion picture techniques.

• Physically fit and having an eye for detail.

• Basic knowledge of production modes like doing a single camera setup and adjusting camera’s white balance.

• Ability to work in a team and in extreme weather conditions.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.

• Creative mind and storytelling skills.

SALARY: 

N200,000 to N250,000
