SUMMARY:

The Medical Front Desk is responsible for welcoming and greeting all patients and visitors in person or over the phone, to also register new patients and updates existing patients
demographics by collecting patients details.






JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Welcome and greet all patients and visitors, in person or over the phones.

  • Answer the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette.
  • Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized.

  • Register new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting patient detailed patient information including personal and financial information.

  • Facilitate patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff

  • Coordinate and organize appointments and documentation to facilitate the smooth running of the healthcare environment and support delivery of quality patient care.

    Respond to patients, prospective patients, and visitor inquiries in a courteous manner

    Keep medical office supplies adequately stocked by anticipating inventory needs, placing orders, and monitoring office equipment

    Protect patient confidentiality by making sure protected health information is secured and logging off the computer before leaving it unattended

  • Inform patients of medical office procedures and policy

  • Schedule hospital admissions, tests, scans and outside appointments for patients

  • Obtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals
 
  • Respond and comply to requests for information

  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post
 
  • To complete other clerical duties as assigned
 
  • Maintain stock of forms and office supplies
 
  • Ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
  • Must reside in Lekki environs

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Telephone etiquette

  • Customer service

  • Basic word and excel programs

  • Time management

  • Multi-tasking, Organization, Scheduling

  • Higher/ordinary National diploma or degree with Knowledge of clinical and office procedures and basic computer skills.


SALARY: N65,000
