Civil Engineer and Mechanical/Electrical engineer sought for a road construction company in Lagos

A road infrastructure and construction company in Lagos needs to fill the roles below.

1. Civil Engineer- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive

Engineering and Project Management support to ensure successful implementation of, and compliance

with all Engineering and Project Management Policies and Procedures of the company

This candidate should be able to;

- Perform professional engineering work in the design, investigation, and construction of private-

public works projects.

- Prepare plans and specifications; and acts as a project manager on assigned projects.

- Act as a project engineer with capabilities to develop engineering plans and compile preliminary

layout of plans, write specifications for plans, perform construction management and advise

contractor(s) during actual construction

- Assist in scheduling and attending project meetings as required including dealing with all relevant

issues such as programme, financials, designs etc

- Work as assigned.

 

2. Mechanical/Electrical Engineer– The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate practical
skills in the design and maintenance of Electrical/Mechanical Systems including:

- Electrical Installations
- Street Lights
- Traffic Lights
- Generators/UPS
- ACs
- Sewage/Plumbing System
- Maintenance Management
- Contract Management and Implementation

 

Qualifications

- B.Sc/ B.Tech. in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.

- Membership of COREN (added advantage)

- Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in road construction/building
