JOB TITLE: Front Desk / Food and Beverage Attendant 
LOCATION: Lekki, Lagos
Level: Full Time
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: Minimum of bachelor’s degree/ HND in Business Administration or any related discipline.
INDUSTRY: HOSPITALITY

SALARY: N720,000 per annum.


JOB SUMMARY
:
The successful candidate will carry out  Front desk duties as well as assist with food and beverage handling service at the hotel. The candidate will also be responsible for manning the hotel bar. 

He/she will be responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel, as well as performing administrative tasks such as, but not limited to managing bookings as well maintain positive guest interactions while carrying out front desk and food and beverage duties in a friendly and efficient manner.

They will also deal with client requests and will always remain polite, level-headed, and pleasant when dealing with clients, other staff, and management.
Candidates must be ICT literate and be able to learn quickly how to use the hotel management software application.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Welcome guests, manage online and telephone bookings, and verify guests' payment methods during check-in.
  • Assign a room to guests and inform them of any specials offered by the hotel.
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints.
  • Invoice and bill guests for their stay and services used.
  • Alert the owners or senior management in a timely manner to any shortage in supplies (diesel, food in the kitchen, cleaning supplies, bed linen and towels for guest rooms)
  • Develop and implement a system to manage hotel stock and inventory (e.g., drinks, cleaning supplies) in an efficient manner.
  • Monitor the use of supplies by other staff.
  • Use the Hotel Management system to record and document all money coming into the hotel, communicate it with the management and hand it over as soon as possible.
  • Organize and serve meals and beverages to clients promptly.
  • Prepare billings for food and drinks and collect payment from customers.
  • Manage buffets, organize, and plate buffet items, break down and clean buffets and refill buffets as necessary during buffet events.
  • Resupply napkins, cutlery, dishes, drinks, glasses, and condiments on food and drink service stations as needed during meal and drink service. 
  • Take food and beverage orders from customers.
  • Clean all dining, food, and drink service areas before, during, and after meal and drink service.
  • Greet and interact with customers in a courteous and pleasant manner.
REQUIREMENTS :
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree/ HND in Business Administration or any related discipline.
  • Proven track record with at least 3+ years of work experience (post-NYSC)
  • Intermediate-level computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
  • Stock Management experience will be an added advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Should be able to manage customer relationships and handle sales responsibilities as may be required.

WORKING CONDITION:  20 days a month, from 2 pm to 9 am.

SALARY: N720,000 per annum.
