A company is reliable source of fuel and energy products located on Lagos Island and is currently looking for a Financial Officer

Qualification:

BSc/HND in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 3 years in Finance/Accounting
Demonstrated experience in Financial management
Experience in LPO and Account Receivables
Technically savvy, with outstanding use of computer software
Ability to educate and advise management on financial issues
Ability and willingness to travel
Personal quality integrity, credibility and commitment

Summary

The financial officer will be responsible for overseeing company’s account, facilitate project financing, make sure all accounts are balanced; research and advise on every government or banking incentives, facilitating and execution of banking-instruments. Confirming and releasing products to customers. Supporting all sales and enquiry from customers. Automating the entire financing process.

Responsibilities:

Balancing all account, manage cash control and up to date book keeping
Track transactions and maintain cash reserve
Ensure all expenses are within account receivables
Prepare all financial statements, invoices, proposals etc. as required
Ensure account receivables and payable activities are performed accurately and timely
Ensure that financial transaction are properly updated and recorded
Manage the preparation of balance sheet, income statement, expense report
Ensure date integrity in all financial reporting
Update financial record with recent transaction and changes
Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related isues
Review financial paperwork/procedures and make appropriate changes
