RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Marketing
Developing marketing strategies for both online and (traditional) offline
● Design Marketing strategy relevant to the brand, target market, season and industry realities - the
Marketing strategy designed should cover Digital and Retail channels and others beneficial to the
business brand
● Develop the Social Media Plan and supervise the creation of a Weekly Content Calendar
● Monitor and interpret Digital media insights for business and strategic analysis
● Execute marketing campaigns in –line with marketing strategy
● Monitor fashion trends and advise the creative & design team; also incorporate same into the marketing plan
● Create and maintain strategic business relationships with influencers, media personalities, etc.
● Identify collaboration opportunities, design a win-win collaboration plan, and engage prospective partners for execution
● Create all marketing materials – ensuring these align with and communicate brand values
● Lead and manage all PR activities, including events, trade shows, sales, and exhibitions
● Brand Promotion
2. Sales
● Achieve Quarterly Sales targets
● Execute marketing strategies with related sales activities and events
● Identify sales opportunities on other platforms such as stockists, sales events, trade fairs,
sponsorships etc
● Identify and target prospective customers and answer their questions about our products and prices
● Recommend products to customers based on their needs and interests as well as cross-selling
● Create product displays and work with brand influencers, partners, and vendors to promote sales of products
● Ensure garments displayed in stockists stores (online & physical) are well represented and carry accurate pricing and product details
● Monthly Sales analysis and reporting to the Creative Director
Supporting Responsibilities
These are functions the candidate may not be directly responsible for but will be required to provide assistance, supporting, or supervisory duties as requested by the Creative Director:
● Account Manager Assistant: Assist with product costing by conducting market research, identifying customer requirements of the customer.
● Styling Assistant: aids the senior fashion stylist during fashion photoshoots, runway shows, and at major retail stores
Qualifications and Education Requirements
● Minimum OND/HND in any discipline
● Training in Marketing and Sales
● Training in Fashion
Preferred Skills
● Fluency in English
● Excellent listening and communication skills
● Ability to take initiative
● Creativity and Problem Solving
● Proficient in the use of Social Media tools and technology
Experience
● 3 years of cumulative experience in Fashion and Retail Sales is highly desirable
