As we continue to grow and expand our market presence, from West Africa to North America, we are seeking a Virtual Business Development Representative to join our team and drive our business development efforts. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and generating new business opportunities. The candidate’s primary responsibilities will include prospecting potential clients, initiating contact, and nurturing leads to create a strong sales pipeline. He or She will work closely with the CEO/Director to contribute to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospecting: Research and identify potential clients and key decision-makers within target industries and verticals.

• Lead Generation: Utilize various online tools, databases, and channels to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of potential clients.

• Outreach: Conduct outbound email and phone campaigns to introduce our products/services, qualify leads, and set up appointments for the sales team.

• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with leads, engaging them through meaningful conversations, and understanding their business needs.

• Qualification: Assess the suitability of leads based on pre-defined criteria, ensuring that only qualified opportunities are passed on to the sales team or CEO

• Sales Collateral: Collaborate with the CEO to create and customize sales collateral, presentations, and materials to support prospecting efforts.

• Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide insights for improving our sales strategies.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of lead interactions, conversions, and pipeline progress using CRM software.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO to provide her/him with well qualified
leads, coordinate follow-ups, and assist in closing deals.

• Other Functions: Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the 

CEO to support the overall success of the business portfolios or its sister companies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.

• Proven experience in business development, lead generation, or inside sales.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with potential clients.

• Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM software, email marketing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a virtual setting.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.

• A passion for learning and staying updated on industry trends.

A Gifts and branding company currently seeks a proactive individual with  well versed account management experience in a gifts & branding company that produces, supplies, or procures corporate gifts, promotional items or marketing materials

Such individual will be required to attract new accounts, manage existing accounts and achieve company/team sales targets.


SUMMARY:

The Account Executive will execute marketing campaigns to generate new prospects and improve 

client retention. Account executives are primarily responsible for selling/promoting the company products

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from searching for clients to closing sales deals.

  • Manage productive relationships with current and prospective clients.

  • Present products and services to prospective clients.

  • Attend trade shows to showcase the company's products.

  • Provide after-sales support to clients.

  • Plan, organize, and execute marketing and sales programs.

  • Device marketing campaigns and activities.

  • Generate leads and drive sales.

  • Gather and report customer intelligence or competitive analysis to the marketing team.

  • Support all company initiatives, give actionable feedback,

share best practices and serve as an advocate and information source for the company.

  • Manage marketing budgets.

  • Excellent customer service delivered to the customers and prospects

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.

  • Develop understanding of product/service lines and value chain.

    QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

  • B.sc/HND in Marketing or business-related course

  • Minimum of two-five years in an Account Executive/Sales or Marketing role.

  • Adequate social media capability

  • A savvy computer/software user

  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment

  • Extensive product knowledge.

  • Experience in a similar sector is an added advantage

  • Must reside in Ikoyi, Lekki, Lagos Island axis


  • SALARY: 85k-100k plus team bonus if applicable
