SUMMARY:
Marketing representative will be responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns to generate new prospects and improve client retention.

QUALIFICATION:
  • BSC/HND marketing or business related course
  • Minimum of two years in Marketing
  • Adequate Social Media capability
  • A savvy computer/software user
  • Personal quality of integrity, credibility and commitment
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Devise marketing campaigns with the goal of increasing product awareness and increasing sales and profits.
  • Plan, organize, and execute marketing and sales programs.
  • Act as the point persons for outside, inside and partner sales teams.
  • Track market and company sales performance.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to create programs.
  • Generate leads and drive sales.
  • Gather and report customer intelligence or competitive analysis to the marketing  team.
  • Support all company initiatives, give actionable feedback, share best practices and serve as advocate and information source for company.
  • Manage marketing budgets.
  • Attend trade shows and events to market product.
  • Excellent customer service delivered to the customers and prospects
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.
  • Develop understanding of product line and value chain. 
 Salary: 50k-60k plus commission

An organization in the fashion industry seeks a business development manager, who will be responsible for developing the company’s product lines in Lagos, Nigeria

ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is a longstanding company in the fashion industry. Its service offering is synonymous to attention to detail, quality and style

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the development of the brand, primarily in Nigeria, by:
  • Building a stronger distribution channel and identifying opportunities, focus on major cities, primarily Lagos, Nigeria.
  • Working closely with creative director, other team members to develop and lead the best strategy into the market.
  • Support the brand awareness activities of the company
  • Developing channel and distributor specific sales-plans that are consistent with overall company strategy
  • Being a brand ambassador for the brand
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • BSc/HND in relevant discipline is preferred but not required
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the fashion, customer service, art or related industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint, and in the use of social media
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
  • An entrepreneur, goal getter and team player individual who wants to be part of an exciting adventure
  • Brand Management/Ambassador - trade marketing skills - commercial skills - financial skills
  • Some  understanding of the fashion/customer accessories industry
  • Excellent customer relationship skills

  • Demonstrated track record or some achievements in sales and distribution
  • High energy, flexible, hands-on individual with outgoing personality who can thrive in small company environment and enjoys getting things done
  • Ability to perform administrative functions and must be highly organized
