JOB SUMMARY:

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for the company’s technology and technological resources. He /She will be our first technology go-to expert and play an integral role in setting the company’s strategic direction, development and future growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships
  • Develop strategic plans and set timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile services
  • Collaborate with department heads as advisor of all technologies involved with company
  • Build quality assurance and data protection processes
  • Supervise quality assurance processes, integration, and system tests
  • Lead the IT team during technical testing of platforms either pre/post integration implementation.
  • Manage relationships between customer requirement and technical feasibility
  • Interface between clients and technical partners
  • Manage and coordinate the integration of new products on to the technology platform
  • Manage  the design, review, assessment and contracts of the technology architecture
  • Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
  • Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
  • Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
  • Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
  • Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
  • Supervise workflow of IT department
  • Share technological visions, opportunities, and risks company-wide
  • Study current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development
  • Study information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
  • Represent the company at conferences and networking events
  • Ensure company’s technological processes and service comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, Electrical Electronics Engineering or related field; Master’s degree in information technology Projects or a technology-related discipline preferred
  • Eight to ten years’ experience in software development role, IT Projects,  information technology role, or related field; five years in management or leadership role
  • Experience with technology relative to industry; Fintech, Payments
  • Strict adherence to company philosophy and sales goals
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills
  • Coding and programming/development skills (with strong experience in enterprise architecture) will be an added advantage

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • To serve in the lead administrative function of the academy in developing and implementing policies, programs, curriculum activities, and budgets in a manner that promotes the educational development of each student and the professional development of each staff member.
  • Conceptualizes the broad goals of the academy and plans accordingly to ensure that procedures and schedules are implemented to carry out the total academy program.
  • Defines the responsibilities and accountability of staff members and develops plans for interpreting the academy’s program to the community.
  • Manages all parent/student engagement related to new enquiries (including tours) or changes to the lessons/schedule of existing students.
  • Provides activities which facilitate the professional growth of the academy staff & teachers and enhances the quality of the instructional program for all students.
  • The administrator supervises and appraises the performance of all academy staff a& teachers.
  • Manage procedures for financial and other record keeping and ensure that financial information is properly tracked and documented
  • Approve and verify all payroll payments to staff and teachers to ensure on time payment each month
  • Create annual budget for approval by the Board.
  • Manage budget and approve all payments to 3rd parties prior to release
  • Ensure the implementation of office policies and procedures
  • Oversee adherence to office policies and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain entry of data into the database
  • Implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency
  • Monitor and maintain all inventory (musical instruments, musical materials, office supplies etc)
  • Review and approve acquisition of office or musical supplies
  • Manages, directs, and maintains records on the materials, supplies and equipment which are necessary to carry out the daily school routine.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment at the academy
  • Report to the Music Director on a regular basis
  • Deal with confrontational situations, resulting in mutually beneficial and productive resolutions.

Here are short bio of the artists:

Chukwuma UKAH (Class'15)  is presently studying Theatre and Film Studies in University of Nigeria Nsukka. He is currently  working to improve and refine his art to break into the animation and film scene.  While at Whitesands he competed in a couple of national arts competition.  He also hold several medals in athletics in Lagos State sports competition.

Chukwuemeka CHUKWU (Class'16) is a student of architecture as a major and fine art as a minor in a US university.  He works with mixed media like basswood for architecture models and foam board for large scale paintings. Under fine art he does work illustrating the present culture of Nigeria mixing with advancement of technology that may exist far into the future like the year 3099. He has a style of painting where he eliminates identity of a figure and retain the interesting pose or action of that figure,

 JOB BRIEF:
 
A premier lodge and spa in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria, currently seeks an Operations and Front Desk Manager. The successful candidate will be honest, neat and well spoken. He or she will be a quick thinker and be able to solve problems quickly, efficiently and they must have the ability to think laterally. They will be the main point of contact between the management of the hotel and the rest of the hotel staff and in this regard, will serve as an Operations Manager. They will also be able to deal with client requests and will always remain polite, level-headed and pleasant when dealing with staff or management

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage office supplies, stock and place orders
  • Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
  • Manage office expenses through petty cash
  • Maintain and update company databases
  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
  • Answer queries by employees and clients
  • Update office policies as needed
  • Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments
  • Schedule meetings and appointments as required
  • Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails and packages)
  • Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned
  • Actively participate in marketing and sales activities, including legwork
  • Actively support operational and business development activities/ events

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
  • Proven working experience in Operations, Front desk  or in a similar role
  • Good writing and communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and office management tools.
  • Minimum of BSc  in Business Administration or other related field

Working Schedule: The candidate will be required to sleep at the hotel from Monday to Friday (accommodation will be provided)

SALARY: N80,000 maximum
