Human Resource Officer:
The role of the Head of Human Resource is to promote and implement human resource values by planning and managing human resources programs; directing staff.

Job Description:
  • Develop  strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contribute information, analysis, and recommendation of strategic thinking and direction; establish human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention and labor relations.
  • Develop human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Accomplish special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.
  • Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
  • Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Facilitate the recruitment of external/contract staff and ensure their smooth on-boarding; manage the effective communication between external agencies and management or staff.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Age: Not more than 40 years
  • Qualification: 2:1 (BA / BSc) and above , Masters or Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences or its equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 - 8years professional experience in varied sectors.
  • MBA/MSC added advantage

SKILLS:
  • Should have a good command of spoken English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Personal quality of integrity, credibility and commitment
  • Good record keeping,
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strategic planning
  • Project Management Software Proficiency- a plus
  • Hands on experience in juggling various tasks.
  • Good in excel, power point  and Microsoft Word.
  • Should be a self-starter and be able to ‘hit the ground running.’
SALARY : 400k per month

SKILLSQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • ND/HND in relevant qualification 
  • Windows applications, Word, Excel, administrative office procedures and written communications
  • Ability to determine work priorities, assign work, and review work for quality and production standards.
  • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines of the work area. 
  • Ability to transcribe notes into readable memos and reports.

Graphic designer will be responsible for  creating  visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.  He/She will also develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.

DUTIES:
  • Meet with clients or the art director to determine the scope of a project
  • Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience
  • Determine the message the design should portray
  • Create images that identify a product or convey a message
  • Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
  • Select colors, images, text style, and layout

A boutique store based at Lekki on Lagos Island, Nigeria, currently seeking for a store manager for its store.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Store manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the  store. He/She should be a passionate and self-driven individual, who can generate/increase sales by engaging with customers to receive inquiries, obtain feedback as well as resolve complaints.

KEY OBJECTIVES:
Maintain and supervise the store operations, ambience and brand experience such as to attract and retain customers as well as generate daily sales. Continuously obtain feedback from customers, record and forward to management. Lead the sales planning and promotions for the store.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
:
  • Coordinate the daily activities and operations of the store
  • Ensure that every customer enjoys a positive brand experience
  • Promote services and products offered by the company.
  • Maintain store outlook, cleanliness, and ambience
  • Respond to inquiries or forwarding them to the appropriate management personnel
  • Promote and advertise the store and brand
  • Oversee the store inventory, payments & other financial records
  • Ensure that source documents are filed and maintained appropriately
  • Supervise sales and other store personnel and ensure that they comply with company policies, procedures and security checks
  • Educate customers about warranties and guarantees of sold pieces and ensure that all documentation is included with the bagged product
  • Ensure that all displays are properly locked and secured
  • Ascertain that all pieces of jewelry are locked up in assigned storage places at the end of the day
  • Organize customer satisfaction and retention campaigns, such as sending out thank you notes to customers and keeping them in the loop regarding new arrivals, maintaining proper customer database and feedback records.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Minimum of HND, B.Sc or equivalent degree
  • 4years work experience as a sales/ store assistant, customer service or sales representative 
  • Must possess basic accounting/ book keeping knowledge
  • Must possess basic IT/ Computer skills
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills
  • Ability to handle customers pressure e.g. two or more customers at a time
  • Must be friendly, warm and charismatic
  • Be detailed and security conscious
  • Must be honest and trustworthy
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Must be stylish and fashionable

PREFERENCE:

SALARY: 70,000- 100,000 naira per month. Salary will depend on experience
